Do you want to pay $7 tolls next year?  Fifteen dollar tolls in 2015?

At the Turnpikes current rate of waste, we know that the tolls will go up!
There are more than 1,000 people receiving their pensions and another 1,000 people who are eligible. This cost will continue to increase every year as more toll workers become eligible for retirement.  So where are they going to get the money? PIKE HIKE.

The turnpike is sitting on over $4.8 billion dollars worth of assets but entered into a risky investment practice called swaptions which is costing over $36 million a year for the next 30 years. Instead of selling off some of their assets guess how they plan to pay for their bad investments? PIKE HIKE.

Senate President Therese Murray, Plymouth, and co-chairman of the Transportation Committee Joseph Wagner, Chicopee, have announced that within a year, there will be another PIKE HIKE.

We can not afford to allow this to continue, we need your help to close the tolls.  We know that many of you have been collecting signatures and are waiting to send them in, but we need to see exactly how many signatures we have collected through our Petition 2.0 strategy so please send in what you have now.

As of today, we have received 10,000 signatures, but at this rate, we will only collect 30,000 signatures by November 18, which is about 70,000 short of what we need.

WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME with only 42 days remaining we need you to donate $100 today.  If we can raise $125,000 this week we can hire professional signature gatherers to collect the remaining signatures in the next 30 days.

NOW is the time to act, NOW is the time to show them what we can do, NOW is the time to take what is wrong and make it right!

Please help Stop The next Pike Hike before it happens.

Thank You,

Spencer, Mike, Eric, Randi, Alex, Troy and the rest of your friends at CART
